  - dosimetric measurements and giving an expert opinion about accomplishment of conditions of protection in terms of working and living environment (the opinion is necessary to obtain the permission from the competent ministry)

Kvark d.o.o performs the following tasks, too:

• shapes the standards and methods in monitoring the state of protection against ionizing radiation,

• gives permissions to carry out the activities with sources of ionizing radiation,

• gives approval for the purchase, import and transport of the radiation sources,

• gives an opinion necessary for the use permit of radiation sources,

• provides legal entities with an opinion for performing professional duties of protection against ionizing radiations,

• organizes and supervises, and if necessary tests the presence of type and intensity of ionizing radiations in the environment, human and animal food, medications and items of common use in normal conditions and in case of suspicion of some unexpected event,

• provides dosimetric estimates of exposure to ionizing radiation of persons who work with sources of ionizing radiation, of population from medical exposure during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and from exposure to ionizing radiation from radionuclides in the environment,

•  organizes and supervises, and if necessary reviews working conditions carried out with ionizing radiations and measures the prescribed elements and quality certification of devices that produce ionizing radiation,

• supervises persons who work with sources of ionizing radiation, a degree of radiation of these persons, a degree of radiation of all people exposed to diagnostic and therapeutic examinations,

• cooperates with international and domestic organizations and institutions for protection against ionizing radiation,

• performs other duties within its jurisdiction based on the Low on protection against ionizing radiation and nuclear safety, regulations that are issued according to it and other regulations.
